Hey, just finished this! I love the core concept and how it feels to play when I really got in the groove of it!

I’m seeing this from Give & Get Feedback, so some feedback:

  • Some of the levels (especially the last one right before the credits) feel too wide open to really see where I was going, and not in a fun way. I felt like I was just kind of stumbling into the exit sometimes. Maybe pushing the elements closer or having some visual landmarks to show you what direction to head next could help?
  • I like that the game’s designed for being speedrun, but as someone who was just trying to beat every level, I think the roll function doesn’t really do much. It’s kind of annoying to remember another button, especially because I confused it a lot with the swap button and kept falling and dying accidentally. Maybe consider giving the roll another feature, like dodging bullets from enemy robots?
  • I think we should be able to see the bounce pads in the swap preview (by preview I mean being able to see where the blue blocks are in red world and vice versa).
  • Some of the simpler one block jumps and wall jumps are pretty clunky.
  • I was using keyboard controls and I think arrows + space + C + V is an awkward control scheme. What if it was WASD with W being jump, and Q and E being swap worlds and roll? Or maybe use the mouse (left click is roll, right click is swap worlds).
  • All the parts where you jump and swap and jump and swap are easily my favorite part, it feels so satisfying.

Overall, there’s a lot of promise here! Keep going with this if you want, I thought it was fun.

Thank you so much for playing and for this detailed feedback!

I’m really glad you enjoyed the core concept and the flow of the switch mechanics—it’s awesome to hear the jump-and-swap parts were your favorites!

Your points about the level design being too open, the roll mechanic feeling underused, and the control scheme being awkward are very helpful. I’ll definitely look into making the levels more guided with landmarks, experimenting with alternate keybindings.

Thanks again for the encouragement! I’ll keep working on this and pushing it forward.

A fun game with a lot of style ! My feedback is that the basic movement felt a bit slippery, and the roll felt kind of sluggish?

Also, if you're going for a speed-running focus, I'll love to see medals based on your time !

Thanks for the feedback! I’m really happy you enjoyed the style and had fun with the game!

I’ll definitely take a look at making the movement tighter and adjusting the roll to feel more responsive. I also love the idea of adding medals for speedruns—it’s a great suggestion to add replay value.

Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!

I'm here from your "Looking for Feedback" post.

I played through the tutorial and all 3 levels btw.

The positives:

1. The concept of world switching is actually really cool, I love how it kinda shows the two sides of Ai, the technological improvement side, and the dystopian side.

2. Good visuals

3. I can see a lot of potential with the mechanics you've set up, I already think you've been quite creative with some of the challenges in these levels

4. I like how you fall slowly on wall jumps, as someone who doesn't play a lot of platformers this is really nice.

5. The levels design is good, I never felt frustrated or stuck on anything, any obstacles that required me to think a little bit made me feel good when I figured them out. The levels feel well paced as well, I don't really recall there being any filler.

6. Browser playable is always a good thing for me.

The negatives/suggestions:

1. I'm not actually a huge fan of the controls, maybe its just my preference, but you NEED to make controls customizable. Having the options to always see the buttons for switching, rolling, and respawning would be nice.

2. I went back to the main menu and didn't like how I had to start from the very beginning, a level select menu would be amazing. (Of course make it so you have to unlock the levels by beating the previous ones)

3. I noticed an oversight, I missed a jump and landed on a previous checkpoint, which made me respawn there. It wasn't that bad, but it can be really annoying when you start to make more difficult levels in the future.

4. While the slow falling/ stickiness of the wall jumping is helpful, being able to press a button to unstick to the wall would be nice for some sections.

Overall I give this game a 7.5/10, it's got a lot of potential.

Thank you so much for playing through the tutorial and all 3 levels! I really appreciate the detailed feedback and the time you took to share your thoughts.

I’m glad you enjoyed the concept, visuals, and level design—especially the pacing and the mechanics.

Your suggestions are super valuable. Customizable controls and a level select menu are definitely on my radar, and I agree they’d improve the experience a lot. I’ll also look into fixing the checkpoint oversight .

Thanks again for the honest review and the 7.5/10! I’m excited to keep improving the game and hope you’ll check out future updates.

Tried out the first two levels of the game, and over all seemed like it had a lot of potential.  I really enjoyed the music and the tutorial explained the controls well.

My main issues were I would have preferred some kind of key re-binding for switching between red and blue and roll, the red and blue platforms were hard to see so I had to figure out how to progress through trial and error.

Thank you for trying the game and sharing your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed the music and found the tutorial helpful.

Key re-binding is a great suggestion, and I’ll definitely consider it for future updates to improve accessibility.
Thanks again for playing and helping me improve the game!

Playing games for the finish your game jam!

This is a really well put together 2d platformer with a "reality shift" type mechanic! I think there's a really high level of polish, and the music is really well done.

I played on keyboard, and the shift to swap + c to roll don't really feel intuitive for me. This could be easily remedied by allowing people to rebind their controls. (I know it's a bit of a hassle, but it will make more people better able to play your game!)

The wall grab feels really "sticky", which most of the time is really helpful, but there's a couple of points with a jump-pad that clears the ledge, but I kept getting glued to the wall when I tried to use it.

I think that the game doesn't iterate through it's fundamentals enough. Where's the projectiles I have to dodge by jumping into the alternate world?

Overall though, well done! Tailor made for a speedrunning community that I hope you find! Can't wait to see what comes next!
